Searching in Shop Module

Shopping For: (FACILITY):   At the top of the Shop Module page, you will see the area that tells you what facility you are shopping for.

  • If you need to change what Facility you are shopping for, you can click the name of the facility and you will get a listing of all facilities you can access.  
  • If there is only one facility in your Hybrent database, OR if you only have access to one facility, there will only be one name in the list.
  • Should you need access to another facility, please contact your Hybrent Admin to add that for you.

Search In:   This area lets you choose what item list you are shopping from.

  • My Inventory
    • This is the entire item catalog for the facility you are shopping for.
  • Recently Ordered
    • This is a list of items that the user who is logged in has recently ordered.
  • Most Ordered
    • This is a list of items that the user who is logged in has ordered the most.
  • Favourite Items
    • This is a list of items that the user who is logged in has marked as favourites.

Search Item In: This area is where you can search for a specific item within the list you have chosen to shop from.

 

  • TOP TIP: The first time you log in, make sure to change the data points you are searching by to “All Items.  You do this by clicking on the down arrow in this field and unchecking everything.  

 

  • Data points you can search by:
    • SKU
      • The SKU or catalog number for the item with the vendor.
    • Manufacturer #
      • The number assigned to the item by the manufacturer.  This may or may not be different from the SKU
    • Description
      • Description or keywords in the item description. Example: Gloves, Nitrile, Medium
    • Quick Code
      • This is a name you can give to a specific item in the item’s setup.  Example: Dr. Smith’s Sutures
    • CrossWalk ID
      • If CrossWalk is turned on for your facility, you can search by the CrossWalk ID.
  • Searching by Vendor: You can narrow your search to be only for a specific vendor by using the drop down list and choosing which vendor you are shopping for.  TOP TIP: You need to choose the specific vendor if you want to use the punchout feature.

 

    • Match: This filter allows you to match your search several different ways.
      • Contains All Words
        • The search will bring up matches that contain all of the words you have entered.  
        • Example: Gloves, Nitrile.  The search will only bring up items that have BOTH the word gloves and nitrile in the description.
      • Contains Any Word
        • The search will bring up matches that contain any of the words you have entered.
        • Example: Gloves, Nitrile.  The search will bring up any items that have the word Gloves OR the word Nitrile in the description.
      • Exact Match
        • The search will only bring up an item that has an exact match for the phrase you enter, exactly as it is entered.
        • Example: Gloves, Nitrile.  The search will only bring up items whose description contains that exact phrase, including the comma.

 

  • TOP TIP: If you are not finding your item, double check your Match filter and see if changing it works to find the item.

 

 

View Types:  You can view your shopping list in two different ways by accessing the drop

         down arrow from the upper right hand corner, next to the “Checkout”   

         button.

      • Table View
        • This is the default view for shopping lists.  Items are in a table format with only text showing.
      • Grid View
        • This format will place items in a grid with the photos of the items (if applicable) showing.

 

Layouts:  You can change the layout of your shopping list and add or delete data points

   from the list.  You do this by going to the drop down arrow in the upper right

   hand corner next to the “Checkout” button/

      • Create New Layout
        • Name the layout
        • Make it Public?
          • Yes = other users can see this layout and use it as well.
          • No = no one but the user who is logged in can see or use the layout.
        • Choose Data Points you want visible using the toggle buttons.
        • Choose what order you want the data points in by using the compass icon to the left of the description.
        • Save
        • If this is the layout you always want to see, set it as the default layout from the drop down arrow.
